River Mondego 28km Kayak Trip

Take a day out from Figueira and take the peaceful kayak trip from Penecova to Coimbra, it’s 28km downstream and takes roughly 5 hours if you’re ambling along.

There’s loads of little river beaches along the way where you can stop to go for a swim, just rest on the shore or have a picnic or BBQ. You’ll see a fair amount of wildlife too along with stunning scenery every second.
