Getting from Faro airport to Figueira da Foz

From Faro airport you're in for a long-haul on public transport to get to Figueira da Foz!  However, it is not as complicated as you might expect for such a long journey.

By coach, check the timetables online here, there are three buses a day, which take 9 hours from start to finish and have one change in Lisbon.  The price to travel by coach is €25.50.

By train, the price varies, but the quickest journey time (and most expensive fare) is 7 1/2 hours from Faro to Figueira da Foz costing €35.
